SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department is partnering with the Coosa Valley Ministerial Association this year to provide Christmas presents for children in foster care.
Each year, the Talladega County DHR Foster Care has a heavy financial burden to bring joy to the kids who have been displaced and lost so much through no fault of their own.
“Funds are critically low this year, and there is a very real possibility that our children will not be able to experience the basic joy of opening gifts on Christmas morning,” said the Talladega County DHR Resource Supervisor.
The Sylacauga Police Department is partnering with the Coosa Valley Ministerial Association this year to help relieve some of the financial burden.
If you would like to partner with SPD, please make your monetary donation to the Coosa Valley Ministerial Association at P.O. Box 2624 Sylacauga, Ala. 35150 by Dec. 13, 2018. The donations are considered tax deductible, and you may receive a receipt upon request. Checks should be made payable to Coosa Valley Ministerial Association.
The SPD thanks everyone in advance for ensuring these children have a merry Christmas.
