SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department (SPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and possibly endangered person.
35-year-old Joseph Benjamin Meredith, Jr. was last seen at about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 in the area of Douglas Ave. in Sylacauga. The SPD adds that Meredith may be living with a condition that impairs his judgement.
Meredith was last seen wearing his work vest, a long sleeve Heritage Plastic work shirt, tan pants, and boots. He is 6′1″ and weighs 250 pounds.
