SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.
SPD posted to its Facebook page that the last known contact with 17-year-old Jashante Akira Edwards was via text message on Feb. 12. Edwards is believed to be staying in the Odena or Harpersville area.
Edwards is a black female, approximately 5-feet 5-inches tall and weighs 120 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes.
