SPD investigating rash number of car break-ins across the city

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – In the month of May, Sylacauga Police Department has received many reports of car break-ins throughout the city.

The following list is a complied list of dates and locations with reported break-ins.

May 5: Coosa Valley Medical Center-2 vehicles

May 7: Coosa Valley Medical Center-1 vehicle

May 7: Walmart-5 vehicles

May 7: Dollar General (Hwy. 21) -1 vehicle

May 7: Piggly Wiggly (Hwy. 21) -1 vehicle

May 7: Dobson’s Service Station (Hwy. 21) -1 vehicle

SPD investigators are working diligently to resolve this matter.  Investigators are combing through hours of video and compiling evidence to try and identify the offenders. SPD is urging individuals with any information to speak with investigators.
