SPD investigating overnight burglary at Dixie Drugs

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Police were on the scene of an alleged burglary earlier today.

This morning the department was called to Dixie Drugs on Broadway Ave. after a burglary was discovered.

Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson told SylacaugaNews.com the alleged burglary was found this morning upon opening, and that it happened overnight.

“All we know right now is that Dixie Drugs was broken into last night, and we are actively investigating the case,” Johnson said.

Johnson said there are no suspects at this time, and he will update the status of the investigation later today.
