SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department has confirmed it found a man dead on Tuesday night at the 1000 block of the Odena Road South.
Patrol Officers arrived on the scene to find a male deceased inside the residence after responding to a call of a man being shot.
SPD has identified the man as Frslandez L. Cook, 52, from Sylacauga. SPD says Cook lived at the residence on Odena Road.
The body has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science in Montgomery for an autopsy. This is an active investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
