SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Multiple people have been arrested after video surveillance captured multiple robbery attempts and at least two robberies in neighborhoods in the Pinecrest area of south Sylacauga late Monday night into early Tuesday morning.
Mandy Reams lives in the area with her husband Chad and her son JC. She posted the photos below of at least two males stealing bicycles from her front porch.
Janet Gordon lives across the street from the Reams family. She caught people on her property on surveillance cameras. On the video you can see the suspect’s face clearly just before he adjusts the camera. View Gordon’s video she shared with SylacaugaNews.com below.
Jeremiah Stallings lives in the area. He told SylacaugaNews.com the suspects stole a Raven .25 pistol, rain jackets and other clothing items from his vehicles.
After investigating these incidents, the Sylacauga Police Department arrested two individuals Tuesday afternoon.
SPD Chief Kelley Johnson did confirm two arrests were made, but was not prepared to release the identity of either suspects.
Reams posted to Facebook after the arrests were made stating her family regained possession of the bicycles stolen from here house.
