SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Three people have been arrested in case involving recent storage unit burglaries in Sylacauga.
The Sylacauga Police Department said the crimes happened at Adding-Space Storage Buildings on Hwy. 280.
“Over the course of a few weeks several storage building were broken into and items stolen,” SPD said in a release. “The Sylacauga Police Department Investigation Division was able to view security video footage and obtain warrants for the three individuals.”
Cody Allen Tyler, 24-year-old male from Sylacauga, Payton Michelle Liner, 25-year-old female from Sylacauga, and Sarah Michelle Allred 24-year-old female from Vincent have been arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree. Tyler has been charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd Degree. The bonds on all the charges were set at $7,500 each.
Burglary 3rd Degree is a Class C Felony and punishable not more than 10 years or less than 1 year and 1 day in prison and fined up to $15,000.
