SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Marble Festival is just around the corner, and many locals and businesses are preparing for one of East-Central Alabama’s tourist attractions.

SouthFirst Bank and its employees were photographed showing their support for the upcoming festival this week.

Shown are SouthFirst Bank associates Chris Kramer, Jr., Marissa Murchison, Kathryn Simmons, Lisa Murphy, Doug Compher, Anita Gurley, Keri Smith, Sarah Lee and Randy Fields, CEO.

SouthFirst Bank in Sylacauga will be promoting the 2019 Marble Festival with the front-line associates wearing the official “T-Shirt” every Friday during the festival April 2-13.

This year’s event will be a part of the 200 Alabama Centennial celebration.  Sculptors from around the world will be creating art forms with Sylacauga white marble at Central Park in downtown during the event.

The Marble Festival is one of the premier events in the state and is organized by the Sylacauga Arts Council.
