TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Here’s last week’s results for B.B. Comer, Childersburg, Fayetteville, and Sylacauga on the gridiron:
SYLACAUGA – The Aggies showed well against a very good Valley Ram team. However, they turned the ball over late and lost, 42-35. Chris Smelley’s team is now 3-4 on the season and still winless in region play. The Aggies will try and get that region win at home this Friday as they host the Marbury Bulldogs.
FAYETTEVILLE – The Wolves captured their first region win and a shutout as well when they went on the road and whipped the Donoho Falcons, 36-0. John Limbaugh’s team is now 4-2 on the year as they go back on the road to tangle with the Victory Christian Lions this Friday.
B.B. COMER – Adam Fossett’s squad fell behind early and made a stiff comeback, but still came up short on the road, 39-30, to the Beulah Bobcats. The Tigers are now 1-5 on the season and they will come back home this Thursday night to wrestle with the Tigers from Randolph County.
CHILDERSBURG – The Tigers enjoyed a much needed week off. Coach Matt Zedaker’s Cats are still winless on the year, but they will try and get that first win Childersburg enjoys homecoming this Friday night at John Cox Stadium when they welcome in the Beulah Bobcats.
