TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Here’s last week’s results for B.B. Comer, Childersburg, Fayetteville, and Sylacauga on the gridiron:
SYLACAUGA – The Aggies improved their campaign to 4-4 on the season and 1-4 in the region with a 7-0 win at Marbury. The RadioAlabama Sports Player of the Week for Sylacauga was Zakorien Chambliss. The Aggies get a much needed week off this Friday.
B.B. COMER – The Cats got a huge region win on the road by defeating Randolph County, 36-34, in a thriller. The Tigers are now 2-5 for the year and 2-2 in region play. The RadioAlabama Sports Player of the Week for B.B. Comer was Richard “Noodle” Weed. The Tigers return home this Friday to face Dadeville.
CHILDERSBURG – The Tigers fell to the Beulah Bobcats on the road, 48-8, to slide to 1-6 for the year and 0-4 in region play. The RadioAlabama Sports Player of the Week for Childersburg was Cam Smith. The Tigers will be back in action this Friday at home as they tangle with Randolph County.
FAYETTEVILLE – The Wolves dropped homecoming to Victory Christian by a score of 49-21. Fayetteville is now 2-5 in 2024 and 0-4 in the region. The RadioAlabama Sports Player of the Week for the Wolves was Brayden Wood. The Wolves travel to Woodland this Friday.
