TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Here’s last week’s results for B.B. Comer, Childersburg, Fayetteville, and Sylacauga on the gridiron:
SYLACAUGA – Chris Smelley’s Aggies go 2-0 on the year by whipping the Munford Lions, 38-0. The Aggies will come home to face the Leeds Green Wave this Friday.
B.B. COMER – The B.B. Comer Tigers fall to 0-2 after losing to the Vincent Yellow Jackets, 21-6. Comer will make a long road trip to Reeltown this Friday.
CHILDERSBURG – The Childersburg Tigers complete a fourth quarter comeback and Matt Zedaker’s Cats go to 2-0 on the season with a late 28-22 victory at Fayetteville’s FarmLinks Field. Childersburg will host Munford this Friday at the new John Cox Stadium.
FAYETTEVILLE – John Limbaugh’s Fayetteville Wolves fall to 0-2 and have this Friday off.
