TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Here’s last week’s results for B.B. Comer, Childersburg, Fayetteville, and Sylacauga on the gridiron:
CHILDERSBURG – The Childersburg Tigers dropped a heartbreaker as they fell to the Talladega Tigers, 20-12. Matt Zedaker’s team is now 0-2 as they head to Lee-Scott to start region play this Friday night. Listen in on KiX 100.3.
FAYETTEVILLE – The Fayetteville Wolves outlasted Billingsley in a shootout 43-40 to keep Coach Limbaugh’s team unblemished at 2-0 this year. It doesn’t get easier though as the Wolves start region play this Friday when they head on the road to take on #1-ranked Wadley.
B.B. COMER – B.B. Comer falls to 0-2 as the Vincent Yellow Jackets came to town and handed the Tigers a 37-18 defeat. Coach Adam Fossett’s squad will try to lick their wounds on the road at Glenwood as they start region play with the Gators Friday night on MIX 106.5.
SYLACAUGA – The Sylacauga Aggies improved to 2-0 with a big road shutout win over the Montevallo Bulldogs, 33-0. Coach Chris Smelley’s team will now return home to Legion Stadium to open up region contests on Friday as they welcome the Holtville Bulldogs. Catch it on WSGN 98.3.
