Sisters host successful youth golf clinic at Sylacauga Country Club

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sisters Madelyn and Camilla Friday, of Sylacauga, organized a two-day golf clinic last week at the Sylacauga Country Club, introducing the game to local youth.

The non-profit event, held on July 6th and 7th, saw an impressive turnout of close to 30 kids each day, regardless of their prior experience in golf.

The clinic focused on basic fundamentals, providing an inclusive opportunity for children to learn and enjoy the game of golf.

The Friday sisters generously provided clubs for those without any. With the absence of a resident golf professional at the country club and keen on making a difference, Camilla and Madelyn decided to take matters into their own hands.

The clinic’s success is expected to spark a lasting love for golf among the participants.
