SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School senior Kayla Dark signed a scholarship to play basketball for Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Andalusia, Ala. LBW competes under Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Kayla is the daughter of Sharon Dark and Anthony Jackson.
“Kayla is a 6-year member of the Lady Aggie Basketball program and she will leave here today as the number two all-time leading scorer in SHS basketball history behind Shakayla Thomas. She is signing with Lurleen B Wallace to continue her basketball career and we are extremely proud for her and her family. Today is Kayla’s day,” Coach Derrick Crawford.
