CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Every year the Greater Coosa Valley Chamber of Commerce invites local shoppers to participate in a promotion that advocates shopping locally during the holiday season. They also make it rewarding for ten lucky local spenders!
“This is an important time for our local businesses, and the Greater Coosa Valley Chamber supports our local businesses and asks our citizens to do the same,” said John Mark Freeman, President of the GCV Chamber of Commerce.
Every time even a dime is spent with a local business in the region, the Chamber asks people to turn in those receipts to the Chamber office in downtown Childersburg.
“It doesn’t matter with whom you spend your money, if it’s local, it’s eligible when we draw for ten $100 rewards. It’s establishes a trend we hope carries over year ‘round.”
And during the December GCV Chamber Coffee, ten names were drawn to receive $100 gift cards:
