SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After back-to-back weekends of severe weather, more could be on the way.

The National Weather Service is predicting more waves of storms to hit Alabama on Thursday.

Storms ravaged Central Alabama Sunday especially in Coosa and Tallapoosa counties. Those areas, Talladega Co., are in the “slight risk” category for Thursday storms. Slight risk is classified as 60 mph winds, quarter-size hail and possibly tornadoes.

The NWS predicts storms to sweep through the area from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
