Second annual “Stop the Violence” Movement scheduled for July

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The “Sylacauga Gentlemen” will host the second annual “Stop the Violence” Movement on July 25 at 9 a.m.

The event is a car, bike, truck and ATV show, and those vehicles will be featured in a parade that morning.

There will be free hot dogs and a water slide for children attending the event.

A variety of special guests will be attending:

  • Kelley Johnson – Sylacauga Police Chief
  • Pastor Clifton Cook – Pine Grove Baptist Church
  • Ashton Fowler – Sylacauga City Council / District 1
  • Pastor Aubrey Butler – Pleasant Hill Baptist Church

  • Mayor Jim Heigl – Mayor of Sylacauga
