SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Southern Dance and Performing Arts Company (SDPAC) will present Sylacauga audiences with a free encore presentation of Thornton Wilder’s classic play, “Our Town.”
After receiving overwhelming acclaim for their initial run, SDPAC has announced that “Our Town” will be returning for a special encore performance. Directed by Joseph McDonald and Patrick McDonald, the play delves deep into the profound beauty of everyday life.
The final showing of “Our Town” is the first one in Sylacauga after successful weekends in Dadeville and Childersburg.
There will be no price of admission to attend the encore of “Our Town.”
The encore show will take place on Saturday, Aug. 12 at Central Park in Sylacauga. The performance will begin at 6:00 p.m., inviting “our town” to gather with their lawn chairs and immerse themselves in the heartfelt portrayal of life’s simplest moments.
