SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga City Schools has a busy lineup before the official school start date of Aug. 12.
Orientations, parent meetings, schedule pick-ups and teacher meet-and-greets are all happening in the coming days.
Here is the breakdown for all Sylacauga City Schools this week and next week:
Tuesday, Aug. 3
- Indian Valley: Homeroom assignment pick up. 9 AM – 2 PM
Friday, Aug. 6
- Indian Valley: Pre-K Meet the Teacher. 8 AM – 9 AM (drop by & meet teacher)
- Sylacauga High: Schedule pick up
- 12th Grade 11:00am – 12:00pm
- 11th Grade 12:00pm – 1:00pm
- 10th Grade 1:00 – 2:00pm
Monday, Aug. 9
- Indian Valley: PreK Parent only meeting. 1:30 PM
- Nichols-Lawson: 6th Grade Orientation and Schedule Pick Up. Starts at 5:30 in the NLMS Gym
- Sylacauga High: Freshman Orientation 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Sylacauga High: Freshman Parent Meeting 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday, Aug. 10
- Indian Valley: Parent/Student Orientation
- Kindergarten at 9 AM
- First Grade at 11 AM
- Second Grade at 1:30 PM
- Pinecrest: Meet the Teacher (Pinecrest School Gym)
- 3rd Grade at 5 PM
- 4th and 5th Grade at 6:30 PM
- Nichols-Lawson: 7th and 8th Grade schedule pick up. 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. in the NLMS Gym
