SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The second annual Sylacauga City Schools (SCS) Coaches Appreciation Dinner is right around the corner.
This Tuesday, Nov. 30, the community gets a chance to meet and greet the faculty of the SCS system that molds the young minds of the student-athletes throughout Sylacauga High School and Nichols-Lawson Middle School.
The dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. at Harvey’s on Noble which was recently nominated by the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama for the Alabama Small Business Award for 2021.
The occasion is a special opportunity to give thanks to the multitude of coaches “who go the extra mile to help our children learn more than academics or athletics but morals, teamwork, leadership, discipline, rewards, integrity, and many other life’s lessons.”
If you’d like to attend, tickets are available for purchase at $50 and all of the proceeds contribute towards benefiting the students through athletic scholarships.
