Residents in Alabama can now add emergency contact information to drivers license record

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – As part of Alabama’s Emergency Notification Law, residents in the State of Alabama can now add emergency contact information to your ID records.

Officers can search the information provided in the state-wide system in the event of an accident.

Information can be added on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s website under the emergency contact tab. Individuals will be asked to enter their drivers license information and personal contact information before proceeding to the screen where individuals will be prompted to enter their emergency contact information.
