CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – With 12 homes completed and more under construction in the brand new College Park subdivision, Rausch-Coleman Homes held a ribbon-cutting event on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
A great crowd was on hand as College Park gave its first public peek at its new homes.
Robbyn Duncan, College Park’s spokesperson, told visitors that the first dozen homes will be move-in ready this month with closings scheduled for November and December.
“It has certainly been exciting the past several months since we broke ground,” explained Duncan, “So much going on, so quickly, what a great start to what will be a 132-home development. The response has been overwhelming.”
The new College Park Drive has not made most GPS systems yet, but it is easy to find Duncan inside the Rausch-Coleman model home. Turn off of US Hwy 280 between Central Alabama Community College and Heritage South Credit Union in Childersburg. The entrance to College Park is clearly marked, and the model home is the first building on your right.
