SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The tenth annual Stuff the Studio Food and Toy Drive is right around the corner. Presented by RadioAlabama’s MIX 106.5, KiX 100.3, and SylacaugaNews.com, the event benefits Alabama Childhood Food Solutions and the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement.
Originally launched in 2016 as Stuff the Bus, the effort began with a single trailer and a school bus parked at the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, RadioAlabama reimagined the event as Stuff the Studio, placing donation boxes at sponsor locations throughout the area. This decision dramatically expanded its reach.
Since then, the campaign has helped provide thousands of local families with non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys during the holiday season. Last year marked the largest collection to date, and this year’s drive is expected to surpass it.
The 2025 campaign kicks off Monday, Nov. 17, with a live Stuff the Studio remote broadcast scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Chick-fil-A.
Some of the sponsors include Heritage South Credit Union, Southern Smiles of Sylacauga, Chick-fil-A of Sylacauga, AltaPointe Health, and TempForce, and sponsorship opportunities remain open through Thursday, Nov. 6.
Residents can donate non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys at participating locations, while cash donations will also be accepted at the RadioAlabama studios, with all proceeds benefiting the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement and Alabama Childhood Food Solutions.
