SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The 2018 Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce Annual Chamber Dinner on Thursday was a night for local businesses and business owners to come together and celebrate another successful year of the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce.
During the dinner, the Chamber distributed awards recognizing the hard work of many businesses in the community.
Sylacauga’s RadioAlabama took home the Cornerstone Award. This award is presented to a Chamber partner that has been impactful in the business community and also a community partner for more than 5 years.
RadioAlabama is a unique multimedia entertainment and digital marketing solutions company primarily focused on East Central Alabama. Its assets include six radio signals along with associated mobile apps, websites, social media channels, and text messaging services plus a hyperlocal online news, sports, and weather service. In addition to our own streaming platforms for PCs, laptops, and iOS and Android devices, our brands are also part of iHeartRADIO and Tune-In for global reach. Its six-signal network reaches into parts of 20 Alabama counties — west to east from the edges of Birmingham to the outskirts of Auburn, from I-20 north to the south past Montgomery, with even more new stations to come.

- Horizon Award – Heavenly Grounds – This award is presented to a Chamber partner that has been impactful in the business community and also a community partner for 1 – 5 years.
- Non-Profit Award – SAFE .
- Pillar of the Community Award – Blue Bell – This award is presented to a person, business, or organization that provides the support to foster the growth of the business and civic community and contributes to the overall quality of life and economic health for each of our citizens. Essentially, they act as a “pillar” supporting the community as it prospers and grows.
