SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After being at its new location for nearly a year, RadioAlabama will finally get the opportunity to celebrate the opening of its new state-of-the-art multimedia center with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Last year, COVID-19 prohibited Sylacauga’s oldest radio station from celebrating its new facility located at the southern edge of the city’s historic commercial district. People from the community will also have the opportunity to tour the new facility and meet the RadioAlabama team.
The new 20,000 sq. ft. facility is much larger than its previous location on Motes Rd. Nearly half of the new facility is home to a multi-set video production studio and new radio studios visible for public observation from outside.
RadioAlabama is an award-winning multimedia entertainment, information, and digital marketing solution company. Its family includes nine radio brands along with associated mobile apps, websites, social media channels, and text messaging services plus hyperlocal online news, sports and weather services.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, RadioAlabama will also be hosting the first Chamber Connections since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ribbon cutting ceremony and Chamber Connections is set for April 8.
