SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Here’s last week’s playoff results for all of the teams within the RadioAlabama Sports family of networks:
CENTRAL-COOSA – The Cougars ended their season Friday on the road at the number one-ranked Luverne Tigers, 50-12. Coach Flowers team ended up 4-7 on the year.
FAYETTEVILLE – John Limbaugh’s Wolves played right down to the buzzer but came up a little short, 44-37, to a very good Berry Wildcat team. The season was a huge success as Fayetteville finished 2025 with a 8-3 record.
WINTERBORO – Skylar Mansfield’s Bulldogs made too many mistakes in the second half and couldn’t stop the running attack of Marion County, losing 36-22 on Friday night. The Bulldogs end the year with a 8-2 campaign.
CENTRAL-CLAY – The Volunteers reeled off another playoff win with a 48-6 thumping of Sipsey Valley. Coach Danny Horn’s team is poised to move into the second round of the Class 5A playoffs with a 10-1 record.
WETUMPKA – The Indians gave it a great run but got outlasted by Saraland, 49-24, to end their playoff run. Wetumpka ends 2025 at 6-5.
LEE-SCOTT – The Warriors will advance to the second round in Class 3A after defeating Hale County by a score of 42-14.
AUBURN – The high school Tigers pulled of a big victory Friday night, knocking Vestavia Hills out of the postseason after a 52-41 shootout.
