SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Many candidates have been campaigning for months for Sylacauga’s municipal election in August. Now, candidates can make their campaign official.
Qualifying is now open at Sylacauga City Hall for the city’s election cycle.
All city council seats are up for grabs as well as the mayor’s office. Qualifying will end on July 21.
The municipal election is on Aug. 25 with the run-off (if necessary) scheduled for Oct. 6.
The city’s voter registration deadline is July 26.
