SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The first ever Sylacauga Christmas Market was held at The Place on Broadway on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Hundreds of people came out to shop local and helped others in the community by donating food and toys to RadioAlabama’s Stuff the Studio campaign.
“It was great to see the heart of Sylacauga, our community, and to have the opportunity to be a part of something that will serve so many,” said The Place on Broadway Owner, Kimm Wright. “The market was an overall success and we are planning another market in the spring that will be on a larger scale. A huge thanks to all the vendors, the shoppers, and the donors. We hope the donations will make this time of year a bit better for those in need.”
If you haven’t had a chance to donate, you have one more day. The Stuff the Studio campaign will run through Friday, Dec. 11 benefiting Alabama Childhood Food Solutions and the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement (SAFE).
