[PHOTOS] McClendon Bridals holds grand-opening

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Thursday, Kim Windsor opened Sylacauga’s newest attraction, McClendon Bridals.

From 4-8 p.m. Windsor hosted hundreds from the community who came out to see what the buzz is all about.

This bridal store has been a dream of Windsor’s for nearly six years, and now her vision is a reality.

“I am overwhelmed, but it feels surreal,” Windsor commented. “The journey I’ve taken has been amazing.”

The crowd was in adoration. Many using words like – incredible – elegant – beautiful – lovely – one member of the crowd stated, ‘Words can’t do this justice.”

Sylacauga Mayor Jim Heigl was in attendance. Even he was stunned. “We are thrilled to have this in Sylacauga, right here on Broadway [Avenue],” Heigl exclaimed. “My first impression was ‘wow."”

On Friday, McClendon Bridals officially opened for business, as Windser, and consultants Skye Owens and Ginger Nix, saw their first appointment.
