CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Well, it’s that time of year again! Childersburg Fire and Rescue has negotiated with the North Pole and are excited to announce that Santa Claus will be in Childersburg on Monday, Dec. 22 to wish everyone good cheer and help bring Christmas to the good boys and girls of the city.
Stay tuned to the Department’s Facebook page for a schedule showing when he will be in your area.
Local firefighters are super excited to be able to do this again for another year.
Santa is very busy, but they are 100 percent sure he will be here on Dec. 22, riding on one of the Department’s fire engines. Because on-duty crews remain in service for emergency calls, they cannot guarantee that they’ll make it down every listed street, though they will do their very best.
Streets will be listed as a general geographic reference for when they hope to be in your area. It is suggested that those who live on shorter, dead-end streets come to a nearby main thoroughfare for a better chance to see Santa.
Childersburg Fire and Rescue will also be utilizing their Santa Tracker again this year and will post the link by Monday for the event start at 4:00 p.m.
Merry Christmas from Childersburg Fire and Rescue!
