Only 28% of Talladega County residents fully vaccinated

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – With the number of positive COVID-19 cases slowly rising the Alabama Department of Public Health is urging Alabama residents to get vaccinated.

According to the Alabama Department of Public’s Health COVID-19 vaccine distribution dashboard, there has been 4,745,105 doses delivered to the state of Alabama

The state of Alabama has administered 3,376,543 vaccinations.

Talladega County has administered 47,914 vaccines, meaning only 28.04% of residents are fully vaccinated.

While residents across the state of Alabama continue to make strides against the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination numbers are at an all time low compared to other states across the nation.
