OAK GROVE, Ala. — The Oak Grove Town Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to consider accepting a property donation, equipment purchases, and travel for elected officials to a statewide municipal convention.
Council members are scheduled to vote on Resolution #647, which would accept the donation and transfer of Hannah Lane from the Spring Creek Homeowner’s Association to the town.
The agenda also includes discussion of cost estimates and design options from Sean Day for a proposed town mural, as well as the nomination and appointment to fill a vacancy on the Board of Zoning and Adjustment.
Under new business, the council will consider Resolution #648 to dispose of a surplus 2012 LAWR utility trailer and authorize expenses for a control panel and outdoor keypads at the Senior Center and Town Hall from Wesson Companies.
Council members are also set to discuss authorizing expenses for elected officials to attend the Alabama League of Municipalities Annual Convention, establish voting delegates and alternates for the event, and discuss the potential purchase of a truck and dump trailer equipped with a grapple loader.
The meeting will open with approval of minutes from the Jan. 13 meeting, approval of January financial reports, and departmental reports from town officials and staff.
