On March 23, 2018, the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force, Alexander City Police Department, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department and Alexander City Housing Authority arrested several suspects after an investigation into the illegal distribution and possession of narcotics in Tallapoosa County. Investigators seized approximately 26 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of marijuana, 10 grams of methamphetamine and 15 grams of synthetic marijuana.
The following were those arrested in the investigation:
Arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute and Attempt to Elude was Damias Holloway, 26, of Camp Hill.
Arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was 25-year-old David Ryan Harris of Alexander City.
Arrested and charged with Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was: Earnest Crayton Jr., 38, of Jacksons Gap.
Arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was 32-year-old Lakesha Crayton, of Jacksons Gap.
Arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance was Robin “Man” Russell, 66, of Alexander City.
Arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance was 35-year-old Cornelius Russell of Alexander City.
Arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Unlawful Distribution of a Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was: Tequila Norris, 25, of Alexander City.
Arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was: 40-year-old Littreal Wright of Alexander City.
Arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance was: Johnnie Smoot Sr., 61, of Alexander City.
The investigation of the illegal trafficking, distribution and possession of narcotics is ongoing in Tallapoosa County.
