SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A brand new consignment store that goes by the name of Armored Seed Consignment and Gifts is coming to the Marble City.
The business is being started by Candace Caine and Aaron Davis.
“My fiance and I both have an interest in helping the community,” said Caine. “Our goal is to be able to offer nice clothes to people who may not be able to go out and afford to buy the more expensive brands.”
Caine says that she hopes for the business will be open by July 1.
“This is extremely important for us because we both lost our jobs at the same time, and this is something we are stepping out and completely following our faith in,” said Caine.
The store will be located at 238 N. W. Fort Williams St. beside the old Fred’s building.
Caine and Davis have eight children, and all of them are helping play a part in the business opening.
“All of our children are involved in the process of opening the store, whether it be meeting people to pick up clothing or running errands,” said Caine. “They are all tickled to death about it.”
