SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Recently, the Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center received a $1,000 donation from Nemak.

The funds will help with improving aspects of the museum including refurbishing one of the rooms on the main floor of the building.

Judy Green, director of the Comer Museum and Arts Center, gave Nemak representative John Parrish a full tour the day he presented the check.

“I was very impressed with [the museum’s] displays and look forward to seeing further improvements in this gem that sits right in our community,” said Parrish, HR Operations Leader at Nemak Alabama.

The museum and arts center is located next to Sylacauga High School at 711 S Broadway Ave.

Nemak opened its Alabama facility in 2000. It currently ranks as one of the highest employers in Talladega County with over 800 individuals currently working at the multi-complex facility.
