SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Nemak of Sylacauga continues to make good news, today announcing that it has been awarded Q1 certification from Ford Motor Company.
Recognizing excellence in capable systems high performance, superior manufacturing processes, and customer satisfaction, the Q1 mark is seen as a worldwide symbol for exceptional quality. In qualifying for the award, Nemak passed rigorous auditing to demonstrate sustained capability in several criteria including key performance indicator metrics, quality practices, and logistics.

We are honored to display the Ford Q1 flag at our Sylacauga facility.”
Nemak recently announced plans to add up to 100 new positions in Sylacauga by 2020. Most, including what the company classified as a combination of salaried, direct, and indirect labor, will be filled by 2018.
