Multiple baseball and softball games canceled around the county after Wednesday storms

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Baseball and softball games around the county have been canceled for tonight after severe weather swept across Alabama on Wednesday, producing heavy rainfall.

Here is a list of cancellations:

Thursday Baseball Cancellations:

Sylacauga  vs. Fayetteville

Childersburg vs. Weaver (area game)

Thursday Softball Cancellations:

Fayetteville vs. Talladega

Childersburg  vs. Walter Wellborn

Friday Baseball Cancellations:

Sylacauga  vs. Pelham

 

Baseball games scheduled for Saturday are as followed:

Childersburg at Weaver (DH): 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Sylacauga at Thorsby (DH): 1 p.m.

Fayettville vs. ACA Tuscaloosa at Choccolocco Park: 5 p.m.
