SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Saturday, Jan. 21, Sylacaugans are invited to take their little Minions to experience Movie Night hosted by the Sylacauga Parks and Recreation.
The event will take place at the J. Craig Smith Community Center.
The featured film is “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” a family-friendly tale that will play from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. that evening.
Parents are encouraged to drop off their children with the Sylacauga Parks and Rec staff and other vetted volunteers to have a night out on their own while the kids enjoy a movie and snacks.
Movie Night with the Minions is sponsored by Heritage South Credit Union (HSCU). HSCU employees will be in attendance to sell candy and popcorn. All funds raised for the snacks will go towards their charity of choice.
Dinner will be provided by Ernie’s Hotdogs.
