SYLACAUGA, Ala. – COVID-19 numbers continue to decrease across the state of Alabama.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 risk indicator, there is a low amount of COVID-19 activity in Talladega County placing it in the ‘green’ category.
Talladega County is currently reporting 8,030 positive COVID-19 cases. Talladega County has reported a total of 169 deaths due to COVID-19.
The state of Alabama alone is currently reporting 516,918 positive COVID-19 cases. Alabama has recorded 10,526 deaths due to COVID-19.
There are currently 47,735 total hospitalizations across the state.
Alabama’s mask mandate is set to expire on Friday and will not be extended.
