Monday accident involving SCS bus leaves no children injured

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A sedan and bus collided in front of Nichols-Lawson Middle School Monday afternoon.

The crash happened at 4:10 p.m.

Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson said the bus was occupied by students, but no children were injured on the bus. The bus was able to drive away from the collision.

The sedan, however, had to be towed away and the driver was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

SPD had no more information to report as it is still investigating the crash.
