SYLACAUGA, Ala. – From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, the Miss Sylacauga Organization is holding a preparatory workshop for all potential contestants in this year’s competition.

Reigning champions Lacey Wood (Miss Sylacauga 2022) and Isabella Kirkland (Miss Sylacauga’s Outstanding Teen 2022) will be on-hand to provide encouragement and tips for those attending the workshop that wish to compete in October.

Located at the J. Craig Smith Community Center, the workshop will guide the girls through applying for scholarships as well as showing them professional development opportunities.

The competitors will fight for the title of Miss Sylacauga 2023 and Miss Sylacauga’s Outstanding Teen 2023 on October 1 at the community center.

Although not required to compete in October, the organization suggests that those desiring to enter the pageant attend the workshop.
