SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The development for the in-progress Milo’s Hamburgers in Sylacauga is nearing completion, and the home of the original saucy burger is hosting a hiring event today at their Burger Bus.
From 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., the Burger Bus will be parked on-site at the new location of Milo’s, right off of Hwy. 280 in the front of Payton Park. The bus will serve guests as usual.
Milo’s starting pay is $13 per-hour for crew members. “At Milo’s, we don’t hire based on previous experience alone. We hire based on personal potential, eagerness to be a part of our culture, and a desire to share the joy of Milo’s with everyone you encounter. We are big enough to offer stability, but not so big that you get lost in the crowd. If you do well, it will not go unnoticed,” said Josh Barlow, Regional Manager for Milo’s.
Mary Duncan Proctor, Marketing Director, adds, “Our secret is not just the sauce, it’s our team. We believe that it takes great people to serve up a great experience. We are very selective in who we hire, but also very committed to those we bring onto the team. Not only do we offer better-than-standard wages and benefits, we also offer the opportunity to grow. All we ask is that you embrace our culture, be open to our way of doing things, work hard, and have fun while you’re doing it.”
Even if you are not looking to apply, you should come out and grab some good food at the Burger Bus. The Burger Bus features a new item every other month that cannot be found in stores. Milo’s featured item on the menu this month is Cajun Fries – bed of Milo’s crinkle cut fries topped with their spicy seasoning, crumbled bacon, and ranch.
The Sylacauga restaurant will be the 23rd location for Milo’s.
