SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Marble City Pharmacy is proud to announce its 20th anniversary on Saturday, May 27, serving the Sylacauga community with dedication and care.
To mark this significant milestone, the pharmacy will be hosting a week-long celebration from Monday, May 22, to Friday, May 26, filled with exciting sales, prizes, and special offers.
Jared Johnson, co-owner of Marble City Pharmacy, shared his enthusiasm for reaching this milestone.
“Sylacauga has been really good to our family and to our staff, and so the fact that we’ve been here 20 years, it seems like a short time, but it’s a big milestone for us,” Johnson said.
Reflecting on the challenges faced by small businesses, Johnson emphasized the gratitude they have for the community’s trust and support.
“We’re thankful for everybody who’s been a part of this, from the patients who have only been in here once to the one who’ve been in a thousand times,” said Johnson.
The roots of Marble City Pharmacy can be traced back to its founding by Danny Johnson and James Hobson on May 27, 2003. Danny Johnson, the father of current co-owners Jared and Jacob Johnson, played a pivotal role in establishing the pharmacy and setting the foundation for its success.
Sadly, James Hobson passed away, and in 2009, Danny’s other son, Jacob Johnson, joined as a partner in the pharmacy. Together, Jared and Jacob have been the sole owners since 2011, working diligently to uphold the legacy left by their father and his business partner.
During the week-long celebration, customers will have various opportunities to participate in the festivities. With any purchase, including prescriptions, cards, candy, or other gift department items, customers will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize: a flat-screen TV.
In addition to the grand prize, Marble City Pharmacy will be giving away numerous other prizes to lucky participants.
The celebration will also feature special promotions. On Thursday, May 25, customers can enjoy free samples from Beehive Bathhouse, a local bath and body products company. Moreover, there will be a Gift with Purchase (GWP) promotion offering a Kendra Scott free gift with the purchase of any Kendra Scott merchandise, available while supplies last.
Furthermore, on May 26, customers can take advantage of a one-day-only offer of 50% off one item from the gift department, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As Marble City Pharmacy celebrates its 20th anniversary, Jared Johnson and his brother Jacob, both co-owners, express their devotion to serving the community for years to come.
“We want everyone to come out next week. It’s our goal to serve as many people as we can in the best way that we can, and do it the right way,” Jared stated.
