SYLACAUGA, Ala.- After coaching the B.B. Comer Tigers for seven seasons, head baseball coach Mark Vincent is stepping away from the diamond.

Vincent has made an everlasting impact on both current and former players.

“Teaching players the fundamentals of baseball and watching them put those into play has been very rewarding,” said Vincent, “It is also satisfying to see players grow up and become responsible adults because that is something they also learn through high school sports along with the importance of being a team player. Watching them put into action what they have learned through baseball has inspired me to be a better person.”

“I’ve spent my entire high school baseball career with Coach Vincent,” said B.B. Comer varsity baseball player, Nam Huynh. “He’s taught me basically everything I know about baseball.”

Vincent has been to the AHSAA State Baseball Playoffs four times with the Tigers.
