CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – In an impressive display of dominance, the SOJA Force, a local semi-professional football team that plays its home games at John Cox Stadium in Childersburg, recently secured their third consecutive championship title, triumphing in their inaugural year in the IAFLX.

The Sunshine Bowl in Miami, which serves as the IAFLX’s title game, saw the Force come away with a win over the NC Rebels with a score of 12-6. The Force limited the Rebels to a mere 84 yards in total offense and forced four turnovers.

The Force have stayed true to their name, being a force to be reckoned with in the world of semi-pro football, previously claiming the 2021 and 2022 NDFL Championship titles and the 2022 AFNT 2A National Championship.

This year, they reached new heights by adding the 2023 IAFLX World Championship to their list of accolades.

The team boasts an impressive roster of local talent, including players like Jeremiah Marbury and Kierian Smitherman from Childersburg, Tonyo Harris and Zach Queen (B.B. Comer) from Sylacauga, and Roderick McKenzie (TC Central) from Talladega.

McKenzie also serves as the team owner, while the Head Coach, Warren Ford, has led the Force to tremendous success on the field. With their prowess and dedication, the SOJA Force continue to make Childersburg proud and cement their status as true champions.
