CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – “Mission accomplished!” exclaimed Childersburg Rescue Squad volunteer Krystal Snyder Pecht. Emergency supplies collected by the Childersburg Rescue Squad are are on their way to victims of Hurricane Helene.

Donations collected from Childersburg and other local communities have been delivered to the Lower Alabama Rescue Squad for distribution to Hurricane Helene victims in need in Florida from Rescue Squad units across Alabama.

In return, Pecht says that the Childersburg Rescue Squad loaded up water to bring back for a delivery to east Tennessee.

“This is multiple volunteer Rescue Squads working together for people who need help and coordinating together to get it all there for them. Look at what willing hearts and hands can do for others!”
