Local churches team up for 5th annual Prayer Pumpkin Festival

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – ChristPoint Community Church and Mignon Baptist Church are co-hosting the fifth annual Prayer Pumpkin Festival this Saturday at Noble Park from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

“A prayer for a pumpkin is what it’s about,” said Pastor Bryan Taunton, “Our hope is to give away 250 free pumpkins!”

Kids will be able to enjoy bouncies, popcorn, and sno cones. There will also be several vendors on hand. Last year, more than a thousand local residents participated in the community ministry event.
