SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A date has been set for the upcoming Little Mister and Miss Sylacauga.
At 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, the Miss Sylacauga Organization will host the Little Mister and Miss Sylacauga contest at the J. Craig Smith Community Center.
Any child ages 3 through 12 is eligible to participate as long as they are a Sylacauga resident or attend either a Sylacauga City School, B.B. Comer, or Fayetteville.
The competition will be divided by gender and split into three divisions: Tiny (3-5); Young (6-8); and Little (9-12). The kids can be signed up for varying portions of the contest. The poise and beauty walk is mandatory, and optional portions include the Miss/Mister Photogenic, the talent, and the interview portion which is only available for the Little division.
“This competition is a great stepping stone to one day competing in Miss Sylacauga and Miss Sylacauga’s Outstanding Teen,” said co-director Kim Parker Todd. “It provides the basis of experience for competing when they are older.”
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $10. You can now register here, and the deadline for submissions is April 15.
