SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Stuff the Studio Food and Toy Drive is in full swing, and you can hear all about it on MiX 106.5 and KiX 100.3.

Tomorrow, Dec. 7, the Stuff the Studio Radiothon hits the airwaves. RadioAlabama’s executive Vice President Michael Brannon will be joined by guests Jim Jones, co-founder of Alabama Childhood Food Solutions (ACFS), and Margaret Morton, executive director of the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement (SAFE). All day long listeners will get to hear about the two organizations, what each are doing this holiday season to give back to the community, and personal recollections about their time working for the people.

Through Dec. 15, you can donate non-perishable food items or new toys to the RadioAlabama studio in downtown Sylacauga, 99 N. Norton Ave. weekdays between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (behind the Sylacauga Board of Education, near Walgreens)

“This year we are dedicating an entire day to promote the Stuff the Studio Food and Toy Drive every chance we get on-air,” said Brannon. “We hope the public will answer the call to help stuff the studio not only during the Radiothon but also after as well! We encourage people that are listening to drop by on their way to work, during lunch, or any time in between and donate what they can. Just two cans of food or a small toy can make a difference.”

The sixth annual award-winning Stuff the Studio Food and Toy Drive is sponsored by First Bank of Alabama, Pursell, Allen Brew Market, AltaPointe Health, Chick-fil-A, Ponder Plumbing, Heritage South Credit Union, and Affordable Heating & Air, LLC.
